Cycling Without Age has hit Perth! E-powered trishaw bikes have arrived and are ready to give the elderly rides to once again feel the wind in their hair.
The launch will be hosted by Sorrento Quay Boardwalk at the Amphitheater on Saturday 24th February from 9-11am.
Cycling Without Age is an international volunteer, not-for-profit organisation that connects elderly people with the community and outdoors. Its mission is to build bridges between generations by providing the elderly an opportunity to remain active in their community by taking them out on specially built trishaw bikes, piloted by volunteers.
The Western Australia chapter was established to support and promote the program throughout the state, creating opportunities that allow the elderly to feel more included in their community and access to active citizenship for participating pilots.
